A circle complete.

Well about the last 2 years have been a complete circle. I left one job working for the DoD to work for the state of Utah. It was a job that at the time I thought had some good potential for advancement. Instead what I had was a good thing for the first 6 months and the for the next year and a half I had a roller coaster ride like not other ( except for the white roller coaster at Lagoon when you are to big to fit in the seat!) So now I am back at the Deseret Chemical Depot and they will be shutting down in about 3 or 4 years. Not a good thing but at least I know where the end is and I can prepare. I do value my experience working for the state because it was as the security manager for the Utah National Guard. I love working with our military, both because my brother is currently serving and I am a Vet. I respect the service people of this nation and the service they provide. They and their families sacrifice a lot for us citizens and we need to acknowledge them everyday ( that is what I think)

Well anyway enough about that particular topic. I just find it interesting how complicated life really is. Whether it is everyday situations or life changing events. We are bombarded with this unstable change everyday and yet we seem to function for the most part. Sometimes it is a struggle but I really think with the help from the man upstairs he gives us the strength to go on and get through it and still maintain everything else. I am sure that is why family is so important they are that support system that has helped me keep from giving up on life at times. I am a lucky man to have what I have and to have the experiences that I have in my life. Now if I can just learn from them and not keep repeating my same mistakes.

How is life back at the depot? It is amazing how life changes and how we continue to adapt and find ways to suceed. I think you are doing a fantastic job. You take what ever comes your way and you make it work for you and your family. I admire that and strive to do the same in my life. It is very important to stay positive and realize what is important in our lives. Keep up the good work brother and you will be blessed.

Love ya!
